The Prince Charlie outfit can be worn to all formal functions where black tie is requested. The outfit is normally worn with a dress shirt and black bow tie.

If you own a jacket that fits you well, you may be able to read the size from its label. Otherwise, please take your chest measurement (or even go into a store and try on some jackets!).

Please also choose the fitting length you require. Because the Prince Charlie is a short jacket, the fitting length really affects only the sleeve length, and makes little difference to body length.

An Argyle outfit is normally worn at day events where the Prince Charlie would be considered over dressed. A normal shirt and tie can be used instead of the bow. It can, however, be worn at any function with appropriate dress sporran and black bow and still be suitable. The waistcoat does not come with this jacket, but is available at extra cost.
